What Happens After Your I-129F Is Approved?

1. USCIS approves the I-129F.
2. The case is transferred into the Department of State process.
3. NVC assigns a case number.
4. NVC sends the petition to the processing post.
5. The applicant follows the post's K-1 instructions.
6. DS-160 and other pre-interview steps are completed as required.
7. The interview is scheduled according to that post's procedure.
8. The applicant completes the medical and attends the interview.

Usually when your post says you are eligible to schedule and the problem becomes appointment availability.
